The Swedish example

From the slide-deck that follows:

“Something really important was explained to me the other week, over a few days of brief conversations. I was glad to be in the fabulously assertive but, just as manifestly, no-way aggressive car showroom which looks onto Stockholm's central park, the Kungsträdgården. The Volvo Studio is what it’s called, in fact.

A friend of mine manages a café and organises some of its events there: I always have a good reason to visit. Because of her, yes; but also because of the wonderful team of salespeople who work in the showroom. They're good people, really good. When I buy a car again, it's the only place I will go. I promise you this: I honestly do. Wherever I find myself.

What follows, then, is a summarised version of the insights I gleaned from the exchanges I’ve had in and around the Studio. And not just with a few Volvo people. Swedish citizens, in general.”
